Stronghold’s platform facilitates payments and lowers barriers to banking; to better serve this mission, we’re making our trading platform exclusive to developers and institutional clients and disabling access to our exchange for retail customers on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 9 a.m. New Zealand Standard Time.
After that, the trading platform will only be available to users of our platform APIs, financial institutions, and other registered businesses. These changes allow us to ramp up efforts to build payment products for institutional clients. Fortunately, retail customers have a wide selection of exchanges to choose from.
Stronghold wallets will remain accessible for retail customers. Retail access to markets on trade.stronghold.co will automatically close at 9 a.m. NZST on April 12; after that, all outstanding orders will be cancelled.
Customers will still be able to deposit and withdraw all tokens via our service, including Stronghold USD (USDS) and SHx. Additionally, our tokens will remain listed on the following exchanges:
We appreciate the support we’ve received from all of our early customers! If you’re a developer who’s interested in working with our products, please review our API docs before creating credentials and requesting access to the platform.
